Custom Configuration User Interface Improvements
Custom Configurations have been enhanced to allow custom configuration questions and groups of questions to be added to many sections of the patient care record. This enables departments to customize the user interface to capture additional data points in any of the following areas.
Department Administrators can configure custom configuration groups and questions by choosing an Event type from the “Add to UI Section” dropdown when adding or editing a custom configuration from Administration > Pick Lists > Custom Configurations.

Custom Configuration Support for Events
Custom Configurations have been enhanced to allow custom configuration questions and groups of questions to be added for several event types which enables more detailed data collection in the sequence chart.
Custom Configurations added to events will appear in the event mini narrative when completed unless the PCR Data PDF setting is turned off for the element.
Department Administrators can configure events custom configuration groups and questions by choosing an Event type from the “Add to Parent Array” dropdown when adding or editing a custom configuration from Administration > Pick Lists > Custom Configurations.

Custom Configuration Support for Groups
Custom Configurations have been enhanced to allow a custom configuration question to be added for several arrays which allows more detailed data collection.
Department Administrators can configure custom configuration groups and questions by choosing a Group type from the “Add to Parent Array” dropdown when adding or editing a custom configuration from Administration > Pick Lists > Custom Configurations.
Custom Configurations can be added to the Mutual Aid, Medication History, Immunization, Hospital Team Activation, Supply Items, Crew Exposure, and Other Reports groups.
Custom Configuration PDF Section Support
Custom Configurations have been enhanced to allow standard custom configuration answers to be added to the PDF Section of the department’s choice. This allows for greater customization of the printed and PDF health records generated by TripTix.
Department Administrators can configure PDF Sections for custom elements by choosing a PDF Section from the “PDF Section” dropdown when adding or editing a custom configuration from Administration > Pick Lists > Custom Configurations.
Elements and Groups will appear on the PDF in the defined PDF Section when entered in both TripTix Web and Windows.
Custom Configuration Sort Order Support
Custom Configurations have been enhanced to allow for element sorting. Department Administrators can drag and drop elements and groups to change their positions on the custom configuration administration page at Administration > Pick Lists > Custom Configurations. These changes will be reflected in the Web and Windows ePCR user interface for data entry.
Custom Configuration Administration Improvements
Custom Configurations have been enhanced to follow the layout of the run record sections from top to bottom. The custom configurations editor also allows filtering and search for custom configuration elements. Department Administrators can select from the dropdowns at the top of the page to filter for specific elements or just scroll to the section of the ePCR they want to configure. The improved custom configuration administration module is available at Administration > Pick Lists > Custom Configurations.
PDF Footer and Crew Section Improvements
The TripTix PDF has been improved to include Crew Information and Signatures at the end of each PCR, reducing the footer size of each page and significantly reducing the overall patient care report length. All crew members on the record will be included in this section.
Notifications Improvement
The standard notifications page has been optimized to improve loading times. User counts have been removed from the dashboard and are now shown when viewing a notification. Administrators can view the Notifications page from Notifications > Standard in TripTix CDX.
Flexible Business Rule Improvements
Flexible business rules have been improved to include state and global rule details, so department administrators can see rules affecting their department as it was originally written.
Flexible business rules will also automatically update when a picklist item referenced in the rule is changed/inactivated.
User Profile Activity Links
The User Profile Activity page has been updated to allow for easier search of a user’s records. When clicking one of the links in the Status Summary the recent records page will load filtered to that users records automatically, reducing the manual steps to find records for a user.
Delete QA Forms
QA Forms have been enhanced to allow the deletion of a form by a Department Administrator. This allows erroneous QA Forms to be deleted and replaced. To delete a QA form, click on the trash icon next to the form and choose yes on the prompt.
Upgrade Process Improvements
The NEMSIS upgrade process for Departments in TripTix has been improved to provide for a more seamless experience when upgrading the department data standard from 3.3.4 to 3.4.0.
Simplified Mini Narratives
The TripTix mini narratives for events have been updated to allow for improved readability and to simplify locating key details on printed and PDF patient care records.
ET3 Support
ET3 support including custom elements, business rules, ET3 schematron handling, and submission to the CMS Webservice is supported in this release. If you are participating in ET3, please reach out to your client relations manager for assistance configuring ET3 in TripTix.

Various bug fixes as well as speed and user interface improvements were included in this release.
Web ePCR

Custom Configuration Section Specific Submenus
Custom Configurations defined for UI Sections that do not have a menu item will create a specifics section in the Menu for easier navigation to custom configurations.
Date/Time Picker Improvements
All date/time fields have been updated to use the touch friendly time adjustments for easy entry and adjusting of times.
Camera Based Drivers License Scanning
Drivers License scanning has been improved to allow for camera-based capture of driver’s license barcodes. This extends the barcode decoding functionality to devices that do not have barcode readers.
To capture driver’s license details, choose the camera button from the Patient page, select the device camera and press connect. Allow the camera to focus and capture will occur automatically. After capture, the barcode data will be decoded, and personal identification details will be added to the patient record.
Camera based scanning works best in a well-lit environment.
PCR Transmission Improvements
Various improvements were made to the upload, download, and handling of offline records to allow for a more seamless user experience when moving between patient care records.
Call Times Improvement
TripTix Windows will now take the user directly to the call time in quick events that is the target of an error or requirement for call times.
This allows for simple resolution of call times requirements.
