About the Corrections Function
After a Supervisor or QA Reviewer requests corrections on a record, it is queued in Corrections. This allows the record owner to respond to the reviewer's change requests. Once a request is made, an email notification is sent to the record owner, alerting them that they have an ePCR requiring corrections.
By default, the time filter at the top of the Corrections page is set to three days. This filter can be changed to search for older runs. Alternate search options can be located under the Advanced Search feature.
Note: If you do not see your run record in the Corrections table even after changing the parameters of the time filter, then you may not be the record owner.
To Add Comments to a Record in CDX
If, as a user, you want to reply to a request for corrections, you can add a comment to the request.

From any page in CDX, go to Run Records> Corrections or click the number on the Corrections row Home Dashboard page. The Corrections page opens.
- Click the Actions button on the record's row.
- Select Comments. The Corrections Comment View page opens.
- Click the Actions button on the record's row.
- Read the reviewer's comment describing the correction. Then enter your comments in the Type comment text field.

Click Add Comment.
You also may involve other members of your organization in the conversation. To do so, click Invite to Comment, and select individuals from the Invite to Comment window. Click Save.
To Make Corrections to a Record in CDX

From any page in CDX, go to Run Records> Corrections or click the number on the Corrections row Home Dashboard page. The Corrections page opens.

Click the Actions button on the record's row. Select Edit. The run record opens.

Correct the patient care record as requested.

If you need to review the reason for the correction request, click Corrections, located to the left of the Error Check button near the top right of the run record.

Click Save and then Save & Exit.

If all errors have been addressed, click Yes. Then click Save & Finalize. The record is sent back to the Pending Review queue.

If errors still exist:

To discard any change you made, click Exit without Saving. The run record remains in the Corrections queue.

To save any changes and complete the run at a later time, click Save & Exit. The run record remains in the Corrections queue.

When a correction is completed for a run and sent back to a supervisor for approval, the run in question shows a date and timestamp in the Corrections Completed Date/Time column of the Corrections table on the Corrections page. The Corrections Completed Date/Time column header can be clicked to sort runs that have not been corrected.
For reference purposes, the entry remains in the Corrections table after the review has been completed. However, the run is no longer counted in the number of runs needing corrections in the Run Data section of the Home page for the applicable medic.
