What fields are required for each patient disposition? What happens if I change the patient’s disposition?
The fields that are required in a run record differ by patient disposition. The easiest way to see which fields are required overall is by logging in to CDX and going to Administration: Business Rules. From there, filter by Incident Disposition Rule. One rule exists for each NEMSIS-approved patient disposition. Clicking on a rule allows viewing of fields that are required, recommended, hidden, and enabled whenever a report is changed to that given disposition.
As mentioned above, some fields are hidden or enabled as dispositions change. It's best to set the disposition as soon as the call starts so that any requirements are immediately known.
